Welcome to the homepage for The Simple Critic, a script and audiobook / audio companion project.
This creative project follows the life of a grumpy man known as the Simple Critic or T.S.C. for short. The Simple Critic judges every person, every object, and every thing with a simple set of grunts.
For example, if the Simple Critic was walking on a street and saw rubbish on the side of the street, he might say, 'Hmm' or 'Hmph'. He might also pick up the rubbish and dispose of it in the next and nearest public rubbish bin.

The Simple Critic was announced in a video uploaded to the Hey! It's Nath YouTube channel in 2018 and was in so-called 'development hell' or was shelved until 2022, when Nath(an) returned to work on said creative project.
The Simple Critic was released in the form of a script and a short audio companion in January 2023.
And that was the end... but, in November 2023, Nathan decided to announce that The Simple Critic will return as a full series.
You might already know the name of the series if you came across social media posts from the Hey! It's Nath Instagram account - no spoilers here.
Fast forwarding to 17th April 2024, Nathan announced on Hey! It's Nath social media sites that a special audio-only episode will be out on 1st May 2024. So, The Simple Critic continues...
